Prism

Colour and dynamic geometry pose as protagonists in this modern education campus.

Prism marks a distinct evolution in the identity of its mother institution, translating its ethos into a contemporary International Baccalaureate campus. While remaining connected to the larger institution, the design establishes an identity of its own through colour, geometry, and a crisp spatial language. The result is an engaging environment that brings energy and character to the everyday experience of learning.

CONCEPT & EXECUTION

A restrained base palette forms the canvas for expressive interventions in colour and form. Rather than being merely decorative, these elements travel across communal, academic, administrative, and recreational spaces, creating a cohesive visual language. Arches, rectilinear openings, tactile surfaces, and ergonomic furniture lend each zone individuality while allowing the campus to read as a unified whole.

GAUGING THE SHIFT

The campus represents a deliberate departure from the familiar. A sharper architectural vocabulary introduces a more playful sensibility while retaining a subtle connection to the identity of the parent institution.

RETHINKING THE PALETTE

Muted surfaces allow ochre yellow, tangerine orange, teal green, and grey to emerge with greater intent. These cameos animate circulation and communal spaces without overwhelming them.

THE SPACE'S INTENT

Spaces are shaped around how students learn, gather, interact, and pause. Expressive design becomes the common thread linking areas with distinctly different functions and degrees of privacy.

SHIFTING PARADIGMS

Within classrooms and activity spaces, conventional furniture gives way to ergonomic, experimental silhouettes in child-safe finishes. Tactile materials and adaptable forms encourage more intuitive ways of inhabiting the learning environment.

COLOUR AS A COMPASS

Repeated hues and geometries become subtle visual markers across the campus. Beyond establishing identity, they create moments of recognition and continuity, allowing colour and form to intuitively guide the experience of space.

I told MuseLAB that I wanted to feel like I am on vacation every single day - and they truly delivered.
