Oh Precious!
A JEWEL BOX IN NATURE'S EMBRACE.
Nestled within a bamboo grove in Alibaug, this residence emerges as a jewel-like object, embedded within a landscape of water, foliage, and earth. Designed in collaboration with Pavan Anand, the home juxtaposes clean-lined contemporary architecture against the richness of its natural surroundings, creating a retreat that feels both refined and deeply rooted in place. Conceived as a sanctuary of serenity and seclusion, the dwelling blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, allowing nature to become an integral part of everyday living.
CONCEPT & EXECUTION
The design is anchored in the idea of dissolving boundaries between architecture and landscape. Positioned carefully within its site, the home unfolds as a sensorial journey shaped by reflections, framed vistas, and layered materiality. Glass forms the primary skin of the structure, while raw concrete and burnished brass introduce depth and texture. A sapphire toned pool traces the edge of the house, acting as a connective threshold between the communal spaces and the landscape beyond. The programme accommodates three bedrooms and shared living spaces on the ground floor, while the first floor is reserved for the master-suite and a private terrace deck. Throughout, the design balances minimalist architecture with richly detailed interiors, creating an environment that feels both grounded and luxurious.

I told MuseLAB that I wanted to feel like I am on vacation every single day - and they truly delivered.
